Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. There are testable success criteria for each guideline. WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. That's on them for feeling betrayed that Sony had the gall to call it a Showcase rather than a SoP and crush their hopes and dreams - which I can't even type without laughing at how silly it is at this point. This website adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. If those people wish to remain bitter for months afterwards despite knowing that some games were pushed out of this year (and thus likely out of the Showcase) and after knowing that pandemic delays are still affecting developers, then they're choosing to allow themselves to remain bitter. Pretending that there was some sort of nefarious intent in calling this a Showcase is just borderline crazy talk though. Like I said, they just need to be a bit more patient and they'll get the reveals they were waiting for at a future event.

The 20 Showcases have comparable view counts and number of likes (4.2 million views and 146k likes for 2021, and 4.8 views and 159k likes for 2023), so if we want to use that metric it seems that folks were just about as positive on this Showcase as the last one. "most" is questionable, as in I would question whether that number is even above single digit percentages for all the folks who watched the Showcase.
